1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Submention ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Submention is a Reddit signal detection and engagement platform that helps users:

  • Monitor Reddit for high-intent conversations
  • Score and rank signals by buying intent
  • Generate AI-powered reply suggestions
  • Track engagement analytics

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate Reddit's Terms of Service or community guidelines
  • Spam, harass, or engage in abusive behavior on Reddit
  • Post misleading, deceptive, or false content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Engage in any illegal activities
  • Circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code

Reddit Compliance: You are solely responsible for your interactions on Reddit. Submention provides tools and suggestions, but you must ensure your engagement complies with Reddit's rules. We are not responsible for any actions taken against your Reddit account.

5. Subscription and Billing

5.1 Plans

We offer multiple subscription plans with different features and limits. Plan details and pricing are available on our website and may change with notice.

5.2 Free Trial

New users may receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required for the trial. After the trial, you must subscribe to continue using paid features.

5.3 Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5.5 Usage Limits

Each plan includes limits on projects, keywords, subreddits, and AI replies. Exceeding limits may result in temporary service restrictions until the next billing cycle.

6. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses AI to generate reply suggestions. You understand that:

  • AI suggestions are recommendations, not final content
  • You should review and edit suggestions before posting
  • You are responsible for content you post on Reddit
  • AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or inappropriate suggestions
  • We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from AI suggestions

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Submention and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Results from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUBMENTION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Submention and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you post on Reddit using our suggestions

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
